Paper Popsicles Has a Week Sketch Challenge!

Don't you like digital images and contests and challenges that give out goodies? Well then, why haven't you been to the Paper Popsicles Blog to try out our weekly sketches? Not many people have linked up their cards so far and this week's challenge ends on Tuesday, July 28, midnight, cst. Here is the sketch and what I did with it. I used ThatsJazzyStampDreams stamp: Tricia! Tag You're It! on this card (link on the left).
This was a project for the family. As you know, we got a four legged family member about 2 months ago, Louie. He is a nipper and we struggle with getting him to stop. Well we figured out the miracle trick: A Bite Box made from a tin filled with coins. We shake it when it nips. He HATES this and cowers away.

New Digi Site and some News!

I found a new digi site this week. Many of you know that I have been practicing my stamping and digi image coloring skills. Someday, DH will be employed again and the Copic Marker fairy will come to my door!!! Lol
Anyways, I found this cute image to work with on a new blog,
Fred, She Said, Digital Designs. They are having a contest this week. Here is what I did:I used my water colors to color in the image. Popped up some of the flower parts and put bling in the centers. I tried using some Shimmerz too.
Now, the drum roll....
My friend Sheila, whom I met on the Paper Popsicle Message board a couple of years ago now, has been creating her own acryllic stamps for her new business, Thats Jazzy Stamp Dreams (link on the left). She has a blog and a facebook page too. She has announced this week that Amy and I will be her "Jazzy Girls" demonstrating stamps for her business! Isn't that cool? She is also going to start selling Copics (see, that fairy magic working??). So, in the future, you will see some of those stamps in action on my blog. Her stamps are affordable and wonderful!!!
Thanks for looking!

ICSketches #24 is UP!

I can't believe we are up to sketch #24!! And look at what one random winner is going to get this week if they use the sketch! HOLY MOLY! Here is the sketch Dawn created for us to use. I have to admit that I struggled with this one this week. YOu have to see what the creative team did with it by going here.
Here is what I did with the sketch. The good thing is that I used up some scraps. I love that! It actually has a place on the front of the card under the flap to put a gift card. Then you can open up the card and write a message in it. I used my cricut to cut the flap part.

Thanks for looking! Maybe you would like to participate in the ICsketch challenges too?!?!? Hint hint...I am talking to you....
