Cuttlebug Challenge Blog: Your Summer Story!

I am totally not a mini-album maker. I don't do them very well and usually don't even try. However, the summer Your Story contest at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog really got my mojo going for some reason. I had a paperbag album that someone had sent to me for a RAK eons ago and I thought, what the heck!!! I used my FAVORITE Cuttlebug folder, Swiss Dots throughout the book, on the title and on all of the acryllic Fancy Pants peices on the pages. The papers were OLD OLD OLD and from my stash (but boy do I love using up what I have on hand!!!!!)
Thank you for looking!

New ICSketch is up!

Our sweet talented DT member Karen is giving out this gorgeous prize to one very lucky winner of this weeks challenge. Isn't it just full of yumminess. And all you got to do is make some kind of creation using this week sketch. Link it up in Mr. Linky with your name and a direct link to your creation. Happy Creating! Our ever talented ring leader, Dawn, created this great sketch for us this week:

Here is what I came up with using the cupcake image from Lindsay Stamp Stuff.
See that Coredinations cardstock again he he !??? Happy Scrapping!

I have the Sunday Clevers!

I wanted to make few things this morning. This was for a friend going through a difficult patch. Used some MM papers that she gave me too and tried out my new Coredinations cardstock! This next one is for the sketch challenge at Paper Popsicles this week! You have until Tuesday, midnight CST to enter for a drawing!!! Didn't Melissa to a fab job this week with the sketch?I was also able to use this same card for the challenge at Caardvarks! That challenge was to use the My Stamp Box logo colors.
I used the Black Magic Coredinations paper and the new Cuttlebug folder.
This last one is very simple. I made it for a co-worker who specifically requested something Chicago White Sox related. Had a couple people helping me out with the shaped card and VOILA! This card works for the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog this week (making shaped cards). I know it is very basic but there isn't much you can do with this type of a card! It is hard to see, even with the close up but I embossed the shirt too. The logo was lifted off the net and I created a cut file for it using Inkscape and SCAL.
That is it for now. I hope to get a few more things done today but time is slipping by fast! Happy Scrapping!

Three Day hop at Caardvarks!!

Boy I want some of this stuff!!!

Monday Mojo Moments

I continue to practice my digi coloring skills. I am getting very good with water pencils and now I am trying my hand at copics. The Digi Shack gave away the cutest monster today and I just knew what I wanted to do with it:
Then, I had to use this sketch I found at Sketch Girl. I loved what hte dt gals had done with this and I had some masking in mind.
I think it turned out cool and it was really easy to do! Thanks for looking and Happy Scrapping!
