Wacky Wednesday Hump Day Sketch #1

I am trying my hand at sketches for Paper Popsicles! Today is my first sketch over there on their BLOG.
And what is super cool is that Melissa is offering a $10 Gift Certificate to the Paper Popsicle Store! That is some serious cash for some awesome products!
I used one of the Cheeky Radish Digital Images for my card this week:
If you want a chance at the gift certificate, you have until Tuesday, October 6th, midnight EST to get your card loaded on the Paper Popsicles' Blog.
I had so much fun with this digital image, I had to use a couple more and even used the Witch's Boot shaped card template from the Paper Popsicle Store:

I have mad coloring urges now....so look out!

My Final ICSketches Card.....**SNIFF**

My DT term at Inspirational Card Sketches is now up with this sketch and card. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on this team and wish everyone luck!

We have back with us again our sponsor for this week, Lindsay owner of Lindsay's Stamp Stuff is giving away 10 digi images of the winners choice. Oh my goodness you so can't beat that. She has some really CUTE images. The DT got to work with her newest images which can be found in her store. So be sure to drop by the store and have a look at her digi images. You will not be disappointed because they are all to cute to pass up.
And here is the sketch we worked with:
I used the Rocketship digital image that Lindsay gave us. I have to give props to my oldest son, Riley, who helped me in my design this week!
As always, happy scrapping!

I have the Super Sunday Crafties!

Ok, well I actually started these Saturday but finished everything up today! The first one was actually quite difficult. The Cuttlebug Challenge Blog is having their one year birthday this month. Every week, they are challenging us to create different things for a party theme that we decide on. I wanted to use Cupcakes as the theme. My thought is that we are going to be decorating cupcakes too. This will be for DD's 7th birthday. Up to this point I have made 3D cupcake invitations, a cupcake slider card, cupcake gift bag, 3D cupcake mini album, and this week, the centerpiece:

This was a monster to make and very time consuming! It is over 18 inches tall and nearly 12 inches wide. DD is VERY excited by how it turned out!
The layout below is one I did for a sketch at Paper Popsicles. Lynda has been doing some beautiful sketches for us to work with. The paper is in the Paper Popsicles' Store.
This card was made with a digi image from Paper Popsicles! Isn't it fun?

And finally, I made this pumkin for a co-worker who had an open house yesterday to celebrate a home she just built. I found these foam pumkins and the leaves at the dollar store!!!!! I made the fall sentiment myself (and I must say I was proud of myself!!!)

Creepy Crawly Blog Stomp is COMING!

You won't want to miss the scary fun! Our porch lights will be on for some trick or treating fun!

Another ICSketches Sketch for you!

Good Day to you all! I am winding down with my DT commitment here at ICSketches. The new DT is ready to start in October. This week, our very own Fink is offering the following prize pack to one lucky winner:
Here is the sketch Dawn created for us to use!!!!
Isn't the shape of this card smokin? I got it from The Cutting Cafe'

Now some of you realize that I missed the sketch last week. That was because the sketch included the use of some FABULOUS digi designs from Regina Easter's The Cutting Cafe and I was so OUT OF INK!!!! So, I had to make it up to her and her site and print out one of the sentiments. For the ICS card and this next card, I also converted the artisan shaped file that she provided into an SVG so that I could use SCAL to cut it for my cards. I think it is my new favorite! This card is for our piano teacher:
She offers ALOT of terrific sentiments, sets, and shapes perfect for SCAL or free hand cutting for sale. Check it out! Her DT is da bomb too and full of inspiration.

Happy Birthday Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot!

The next part of the Birthday Party challenge at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot was to create a matching album for your birthday theme. One of the very talented DT members had created a cupcake shaped album so I had to rack my pea sized brain and come up with something different. It was a stretch last week seeing as though I have been battling a cough and cold, but I DID IT! My birthday theme is a Cupcake Party. I started out with a 3d cupcake invitation, a card and a gift bag and now the album.

I decided to make an exploding box a wee bit bigger to accommodate photos on the inside pink pages. It is the first time I have made one of these and the cake lid was a challenge, but all in all I love the results!!! Thanks for looking and have a great day!!!

Hello Again...

I know I have been MIA this week from all MBs and DT commitments. For this I do apologize. The cough and cold I have been carrying for 3 weeks finally took me down and it took me down hard. I missed a day and a half of work even and seemlingly slept those days at home away. I got some antibiotics and feel a world of different today! So, with that I wanted to post some things. Paper Popsicles has weekly sketch challenges on the MB. Have you been there for the drama free fun? This is the sketch for this week by our very own fearless leader, Lynda:
And this is what I did with it using the Mr. Campy papers that I purchased from the Paper Popsicles store! The alphas are miscellaneous from my stash!
THis next sketch is the Paper Popsicles blog card sketch from Amy:
And here is what I did with it:
I think that you really need to join us at Paper Popsicles. The blog and the MB are always fun and the friends you will meet with be with you for a scrappy lifetime!

The Birthday Party Continues at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot!

This week we are to make a card and a gift bag for our party. I chose a cupcake theme. My wheels are turning for this party. Hannah's birthday is late October and this party is going to be perfect AND well planned! Very helpful for a busy mom like me! So here is my card and my giftbag. I put the cupcake invitation in the middle just so you can see how it all goes together....
I used a slider card as my base. There was one left from a box of them that i had. Just happy to get rid of my stash!
Any, thanks for looking and stay tuned for more party stuff!
