Monday Mojo Moments
I continue to practice my digi coloring skills. I am getting very good with water pencils and now I am trying my hand at copics. The Digi Shack gave away the cutest monster today and I just knew what I wanted to do with it:
Then, I had to use this sketch I found at Sketch Girl. I loved what hte dt gals had done with this and I had some masking in mind.
I think it turned out cool and it was really easy to do! Thanks for looking and Happy Scrapping!

Some Projects from Me today...
So I am trying to be efficient and get done with a couple of projects today. Ha! So much for that! In trying to get a card done for ICS, I used the wrong image! I can't believe it! No wonder I struggled with it for so long! My inner mojo was trying to nudge me in the right direction but apparently I wasn't listening! Oh well! For this first card, I used the Back to School Stuff from Paper Popsicles' Digital Images. The little ruler actually came in the package of lunch sized chips that we opened when packing lunches for school tomorrow!
The next card features Oliver, another digital Image from the Paper Popsicles Store (and I used 2 copics on this one...my first attempt!):
Melissa is hosting a tag swap at Paper Popsicles too this month, on the message board. This is what i came up with (gotta love October Afternoon!)
And finally, this hysterical image was a freebie during the first blog hop I ever played along with at The Digi Shack. Sorry for the foul language, but it seemed to suit the image well. We also were asked to use this sketch and one of their images. Since I have been playing with a few of their images lately, I thought I would give it a whirl!
Anyhoo, I better dash and try to get that card done for ICS before I retire for the evening....perhaps my mojo will stick around for a bit longer! Thanks for looking and happy scrapping!
The eCraft...is this what I have been looking for?
Personal electronic cutter fans....LOOK OUT! Have you seen this new machine by Craftwell USA? It is called the eCraft. I think this is what I have been looking for. A machine that doesn't require me to purchase mats, adhesive, special blades or anything yet it cuts through a variety of heavy materials and cardstock alike! I have long sold my Quickutz and my Sizzix and my cuttlebug dies. I am now with PC and use my Expression but my maintenance costs are out the roof not to mention the the costs of the new cartridges. This machine has a roll of paper too that is attached for BANNERS! How cool will that be? I can just see how my kids' classrooms are gonna look for birthdays now!!!
I can't wait to demo this baby!
You can see a virtual demo here.
They come in fun colors too! And they look sleeker and smaller than my Expression. A bonus!

Here's our sketch for this week. I am excited to report that I created this sketch this week! This is my first attempt at doing something like this. We want to see what you can create with it. The DT ladies did a marvelous job with the sketch. Remember you can rotate, flip or stretch or anything your heart desire with the sketch. Just remember to have fun with it. On another note you don't have to be a stamper to play along. We welcome everyone!
On my card I used the new stamps from Thats Jazzy Stamp Dreams. These are VERY AFFORDABLE acryllic stamps. Sheila is also able to CUSTOM MAKE stamps for you!!!!

I have been lurking around The Cuttlebug Challenge Blog for awhile now. I actually have 27 A2 folders, 12 little folders, and 4 border folders that I have "collected" for a couple of years now. This week they are offering some free digi stamps to try out so I thought I would go for it! I made two cards!.JPG)

Happy Birthday Nicholas!!!!
Today we celebrated Nicholas' 5th birthday! Traditional style in our family is a low key, family type birthday. Nicholas requested Spiderman as a theme. With the help of one of my good friends JenC, whose work simply amazes me, I was able to create these invitations using my cricut and the cricut markers. Thank you so much Jen for the cut file! You can see more of her brilliant work here.

We headed off to church this morning before the party started. Fr. Neil had the parishioners sing Happy Birthday to Nicholas. That was really cute! Everyone also extended their hands for a special blessing just for him (and believe me, the kid needs all the blessings he can get!)+(Small).JPG)
Usually I make a homemade cake into some sort of rough image to match the theme. I have been known to be quite clever putting together a shaped cake from scratch. But alas, this year, I opted for the icecream cake from DQ.

Um, mental note here: Leave off the blue icing...
