Ok Ok. I am a queen lifter. At Paper Popsicles this week, everyone is gearing up for National Scrapbooking Day on Saturday, May 3rd. Every day this week they have another challenge over there. I am inspired and my mojo is screaming..."KEEP UP YOU FOOL!". Anyway, here are a couple of my lifts (the layouts--thanx BECCA...you rock girl!) and a card using alcohol inks.

Disney Album

I went to Archiver's yesterday in Indianapolis. It was a day long (12 hour crop) but so worth the 3 hour trip EACH direction. Didn't get home until 2:30 a.m. I think I am too old for these types of trips. Woo eee I am T I R E D today!

One of the projects I was determined to work on was a lunch box tin album. I didn't do the pictures yet, but I think you will get the point!!!

More Challenges and Ideas Found

I just love a good challenge, don't you? They give me such mojo! Paper Popsicles has inspired me to try ATC (Artist Trading Cards). These little rolladex sized cards are such a hoot to work with. They are so small that they whip up in a jiffy! I just love that! Go visit them for lots of inspiration and mega amounts of challenges at http://www.paperpopsicles.com/. You definitely
will get your mojo kicking, and quick!

Then there is Ellie! I have seen some amazing projects and wonderful ideas come from her blog, http://www.scrapbookmamaof4kidz.blogspot.com/. She is having a little RAK giveaway. More small cards, this time 3x3 size. I am so fond of these little treasures. They come together so quickly.

Thanks Ellie for all of the inspiration!!!

Better late than NEVER!

Hey There! Things have been so hectic in my personal life that I have neglected my blog. So here I am updating it on Sunday afternoon with Easter Pictures. Ok ok, I know, that was like forever ago, but soon I will add a bunch of scrapbooking goodies for you all to look at too, I promise! I have a bunch that I have done, just haven't posted them either!!! We went to Bloomington, IN for Easter this year to spend time with friends of the family (also, they are the Godparents of our kiddos). It was so lovely!!!

I have accepted a full time position as the Director of Training and Community Resources at Real Services. This is a local area agency on aging that serves five counties in the area. It is a big change for me and the family but it is going well. I am managing my scrapbooking habit just fine with a bit of help during lunch going to the message boards I love.

And speaking of those message boards.....
Have you visited Paper Popsicles lately (http://www.paperpopsicles.com/) They have a blog now!! It is an awesome forum with tons of contest and swaps and F U N!! She also has a quaint on line store with the bst ever kits you can find!!! Check them out!!!

Scrap City (http://www.thescrapcity.com/) is my other favorite spot these days. Again, a super friendly site with the best contests and challenges. This month they are having TONS of challgens. Get em done for change to win a uber cute kit from, PAPER POPSICLES (yay! my favorite kits!!!)

I have been busy...

So, what would Easter be without a few Easter Treat Bags for the preschoolers at Hannah's school? I made 20 of these buggers. They have jelly beans inside. I used the Cricut Design Studio and an awesome pattern from Ruby at www. cricutsandbutterflies.blogspot.com. She is rockin with awesome ideas for sure! Check out her site!!!! Along with the treat bags, I designed crosses to go on the door at preschool. Used the Cricut Design Studio for this too. That program is so way fun!!!! The Mickey Layout was a CDS gem found on the Cricut Website. I tweaked it a bit and put a nice frame around it. I sent it to my folks as a thank you for the trip to Disney last month. Enjoy!!!

Disneyworld...

Did you know that we just went to Disneyworld earlier in the month?! Yup, we did! My folks took us there. We stayed at the Contemporary Resort. The weather was FAB FAB FABULOUS!!!! So much better than the dreary, cloudy, cold and snowy weather we continue to deal with up here. While we were only there for about 4 days, we went to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios. Here are some pics from the trip. I am going to break out of my mold and do an album just for the trip. Can't wait to get started!

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!

Of course, what would this holiday be without tons of Valentine's treats for the kids at school!!! We made a simple sucker holder using the Cricut Design Studio, some stamps and my kiddos. The pink bags were made with my Expression machine and the TBBM cartridge. I used the Bazzill Stitchz template for the LOVE. Enjoy the love here!

Bitten By the Bug Contest

Regina Easter has a new contest on her blog Bitten by the Bug. For this contest, she is asking for a shaped card using the cricut and any shape from any cartridge. For details and examples, go to http://regina-bittenbythebug.blogspot.com/2008/01/shape-contest.html I came up with a princess crown card for my friend.

I used the Happily Ever After cartridge and cut the crown at 4 1/2 inches. I inked the edges. I sewed "princess" using the Bazzill In Stitches templates. Miscellaneous rhinestones were used. I used CTMH stamps and some Bo Bunny rub-ons. The paper is from Paper Popsicles, the Time To kit from December.
