Some Odd Girl Digital Stamps...

I really love working with digital images.  This one I found so interesting that I had to get it from Some Odd Girl.  What's more is now they are going to have some clear polymere stamps available for purchase in the future.  I got this one from their store thinking that it would be a great card...then I thought of a welcome sign repurposing a great plastic doodad I found in some packaging at work.

Making the Rounds

www.
I have really enjoyed working with the different digi's at Squigglefly.  Every week (Saturdays) they  come out with new releases. They have so many designers that everyone can find something that they like and a style that suits their needs.  This week's challenge was "Making the Rounds".  They wanted something with Round, circles, etc.  I made two cards, one using one of their round sentiments and the other combining a sentiment of theirs with their owl (and i love owls)

Thanks for looking and as always, Happy Scrapping!

Hop and Crop!

Scrap-Friendzy is having a hop and a crop next week beginning February 9 th with the hop and during the weekend, the crop.  There will be lots of challenges and prizes galore!  Come join us!

Hey there Cupcake!

I found a great digi site called Limited Runs Stamps. They have loads of cute digitals, challenges, and freebies.  You can click on the right sidebar on the Limite Runs Digital banner and get to their site to see all that they have.  They have a challenge to use their cupcake this week.  I decided to flood a page with teeny tiny cupcakes and color just a few of them.  I added a larger cupcake as the focal point.  My Copics were used and some bling added.  Yummy!

Lots to Share!

Yes, I really have been making alot of cards.  I have been saving them for what I do not know so I decided to share some with you today!
This first one was fun. I ran across a way cheap cheap cheap SU set of snowman parts stamps.  WIth some of my stash I created this card.  What fun I had!
These next ones features Squigglefly digital images.  This one has a journal box.  It was FREE FREE FREE!
This next one features the sentiment that was FREE FREE FREE.  Squigglefly also had a link to the pattern and I couldn't resist.  You can make it into a panty as well.  I have one made but I am looking for just the right sentiment.

As always, thanks for looking and Happy Scrapping~

Cocoa Kisses and Marshmallow Hugs

I have really enjoyed getting into my copics again and digging out my watercolored pencils.  The digi stamps at Squigglefly are so fun and different.  There are tons to choose from with new releases every week. They have a challenge blog HERE.  This week's challenge is to follow a sketch:
And you need to use Red, hearts, and sparkle.  This is what I came up with using their FREEBIE heart background paper, and a digi stamp I bought from their STORE called Cocoa:
I used white liquid applique that was heat set for marshmallows and the rhinestone steam was from a gift from Holly from an earlier challenge with Squigglefly.
Here is another card I did for a Squigglefly challenge at SNR Card Universe.  There are three opportunities to win prizes if you tell them you feel: traditional valentines or anti-valentine.  I chose Anti Valentine as I was feeling quite sassy!
As always, thanks for looking and Happy Scrapping!

Party Pig!

Squigglefly has the right balance of cute digis and sentiments.  There are many designers.  I tend to be drawn to more cartoon like characters.  This one just made me chortle, the Party Pig.
I could make this little piggy fit perfectly into their challenge too.  The challenge this week was to use GREEN, SILVER, and a FLOWER.
Mission accomplished!
Thanks for Looking and Happy Scrapping!

Some Odd Girl (I know I am but stop telling me! lol)

This week has been Some Odd Girl's Anniversary.  They are celebrating one year.  Although I have just discovered their digis, I am in love.   To celebrate their one year, they are having a week long celebration with daily challenges and some terrific prizes!  I was able to participate in a few of them this week.  The sun finally peeked out today, so I was able to photograph my projects better.  Monday's challenge was to take 1 digi and use it in 3 different ways. The beauty of digis is that you can flip then, make them HUGE, make them tiny, make a background, the possibilities are only limited by your imagination!  So, I used one of their sentiments, You Are So Sweet, and made two cards: one with a tiling of the sentiment, and one lonely larger sentiment, and then I made a bookmark.
Wednesday's challenge was Color Pride.  Today, as part of their Anniversary celebration, they had a color challenge that is near and dear to their hearts. They want us to show our Odd Pride by making a project with the color scheme that has been with them, in one way or another, since the beginning:

I loved how this digi turned out.  I looks like one of my boys "plugged in" for sure!
Thursday was the Kids Day Challenge.  We were invited to have our kids use the digis.  Of course mine loved this.  Both of my youngest participated (shhhhh, don't tell Nicholas I didn't include his this time around....).  Here is Hannah's.  She loves to bling things out.  I think she used a sleeve of pearls and rhinestones as well as a bottle of Stickles (what a stinker!)

Friday's challenge is Some Odd Elements.  We are invited to use a SOG digi and at least three of the following items:
Shaped Card (any shape but square or rectangular)
Organza Ribbon
Misting/Masking
Embossing
Orange
Doodling
Die Cut
Glitter
Ink
Ric rak
Layers (at least 4 on your creation)
You will notice that the first letter of each of the elements above spell Some Odd Girl.  Here is my card with Embossing, Orange, a Teacup shaped card, I cut the digis out like a die cut, a diecut sticker, glitter (I used stickles on her headband, heart on the shirt, and her shoes), ink on the edge of the card, as well as organza ribbon (ok, I am an overacheiver)

There is still some time to get in on any of  the challenges.  They are due by the end of the day today, EST.  I am hoping to get in the last challenge of the week which is to create a mini card, less than 3x4 inches big.  I think I can do it after the basket ball game today and while watching the Bears slaughter the Green Bay Packers (he he).
Thanks for looking as always and Happy Scrapping!
