A little bit of HO HO HO!
I joined a new scrapbooking community at Birds of a Feather Kit Co. This month they have the 12 Days of Christmas challenge. There are 12 different challenges.
Day one is a Christmas Card given to someone who wouldn't expect it:
Day two is to use plain paper sacks and use them for gifts. The one on the left is for Bel, the lady who cleans our hojme twice a month. In it will be a set of monogrammed notecards and on the right, I used this sack for the hostess gift for a Christmas party we went to on Saturday.
These are the notecards for Bel that will go in the sack on the left above.
Come join the community. This weekend will be some crop challenges, Bingo, and a blog hop.

New Scrappy Forum Wanted and Some Stuff to Share!
This are the last of my scrappy goodies for Scrap-Friendzy. Sadly, they have decided to close the forum. I have so enjoyed the time I have spent there over the last 2 years or so. I will miss the fun and the daily inspiration for sure! If you are on a forum that is fun and down to earth, please let me know what it is so I can join you all. I find that online communities really help me stay connected and creative!
Now these next two pictures are of Riley's very first dance, the Winter Semi-Formal. He is a freshman this year. He is a bit petrified as you can see here but quite a handsome young man! So quiet that you might think he was saving his breath or his voice for something, lol.

My weekly Post: Something Odd too!
As you know by now, I am completely in LOVE with Some Odd Girl Digital stamps. There was a "Nouveau Challenge" inspired by the new release of the acryllic Nouveau Stamps Kristy designed. On the Some Odd Girl blog the challenge was to take the picture on the right and create something that inspired you. I used Bookish-Tia, found here in the SOG store.
Back at Scrap-Friendzy, we are celebrating the wonderful talent of the owners and the members with a Thankful Friendzy month long challenge. This layout was lifted off of one of the owners, Amy.
This was a miscellaneous card I created with my stash for a staff person who requested a little something more special than a generic work sympathy card for one of her clients.
Thanks for Looking and Happy Scrapping!

Gettiong ODD and Mojo with Scrap-Friendzy!
I know i have mentioned this before but I love Some Odd Girl stamps! There are so many fun ways to get involved with this terrifically talented group of women. The owner, Kristy is AMAZING with her Copic coloring. She is a mad woman with those skills...so mad that Copic is going to look at featuring her work in their catalog! I feel like I know someone famous! There is a flickr group where there are biweekly challenges for the 12 weeks of Christmas. I have been faithfully playing along and here are week's 6 and 7.....
On Kristy's blog, she is having us showcase our best work of the week. I decided to put my SOG girls to work in a practical way in my home. It seems as though the little people and that one big guy called my husband, cannot figure out a laundry system in our new home. So I decided to help out by creating tags for the LIGHTS, DARKS, and WHITES. I used siding chips that I lifted from Lowe's (he he). I modge podged, glued, colored and decorated and VOILA!
Of course I have remained active at Scrap-Friendzy. They always have monthly challenges that keep me inspired. This month's theme is "Thankful Friendzy". The first layout was to lift a title or a quote from the gallery and scrap it: This one was to lift someone's layout with chipboard and lift the design and use chipboard on the layout. The chipboard could not be naked.
If you need your mojo kicked at all, these two places are the sites to be at every day and every week!
Thanks for looking and Happy Scrapping!

Oddly spread your Birthday Love!
Kristy has been celebrating her 30th birthday all month long......might i say i am jealous that she is so young and talented?! You just HAVE to join her on her blog here. She has had some wonderful tutorials from some equally talented friends and guests as well as from herself all month long including Copic coloring/shading, different card designs, different elements. It has been an incredible month. And if you link up to her blog you just never know if you will win something. There are giveaways all month long so you have to look at all of the blog posts. You won't know if you are a winner until after the 31st so what are you waiting for? GO WISH KRISTY A HAPPY BIRTHDAY and see what you might learn!

Still a bit of Odd with Some Odd Girl!
This next challenge on the SOG Blog was to use an image from SOG and only color in black and white. Not just print out and leave it. I loved this challenge:
And of course the SOG Flickr group is having the 12 Weeks of Christmas. Week 5 was to create a gift card holder. Because Kristy, owner proprietor of SOG is celebrating her birthday all month long, there have been some fabulous tutorials on her personal blog here,. I have been soaking up the insipiration and the tutorials.
