DT Reveal at Paper Popsicles!

I totally loved this kit! It has to be my favorite so far:
March Kit - Black Orchard
3 12x12 cardstock sheets by s.e.i.
5 12x12 double sided patterned papers by s.e.i. (3 sheets are glossy embossed)
1 coordinating Stickles
1 clear stamp by Snag'em Stamps
1 package of Magic Mesh
1 alphabet sheet by s.e.i.
1 Colorbox pigment ink
1 package of s.e.i. die cut shapes
1 package of Jillibean-Soup journaling sprouts
1 KI Memories tattoo
You get all of this for $25! This stuff retails for MUCH more than this and Melissa has done a superb job coordinating everything so nicely. These are the projects I did with the kit:
It is hard to see on that one, but I made a dimensional flower with the magic mesh! Fun!
This next project was my favorite one out of the bunch. It was a card set that I made using a cut file I got from JenC at jensbrainthings.blogspot.com. This woman is freakishly AMAZING with what she comes up with for the cricut and the design studio. She created this little cut file to make this box and the pieces to decorate. You have to check out her blog! I made this box as a raffle item for cubscouts. It was very loved by many parents!
Now, I am not a stamper, but I was proud of the work I did with the stamp in this kit {{breaking arm patting self on back}}
Thank you for looking! Come on over to Paper Popsicles and SNAG yourself a kit before they are all gone!

ICSketches #5 and a RAK!!!!

This week's sketch is the following:
I used Jillibean Soup papers on the first one. I hand cut the bird out of brown cardstock. The second card was made of scrap MM papers and those cool Prima flowers. I used the Prima packaging on the background as well, trying to be "green"!!!!
I want all of you to use this sketch this week and link up on ICSketches!!! You will be entered to win this:
Aren't those flowers just the sweetest? Dawn made those!!!!

New Projects!

Card*a*licious 14: This week's challenge was to creat a card with green and a friend theme. This is what I came up with:Card challenges are a great way to use up scraps and miscellaneous things that you just can't seem to "give up". I made this card work for a sketch at Dixie Pieces too (smart work in progress today!) Check out what the designers did for this challenge here.
I won the monthly challenge at I AM A SCRAPAHOLIC. They sent me OODLES of Jillibean Soup papers and wonderful embellis! I made a layout using a sketch I found at Dixie Pieces (smart scrapping at work here):
Then there are the 108(!) film reels that I made for an auction at the local Catholic high school, courtesy of my dh for volunteering me (gee, as if I didn't have enough to do already!). Thankfully, JenC at JensBrainThings, came to my rescue by helping me use Cricut Design studio to come up with these:
There are 4 layers here. There is a brad on each one and it allows the first to layers to swing open revealling a trivia question. I never want to see another trivia card like this again. I learned way too much about a school my kids will not be attending!!!! lol If you have time, check out Jen's blog here. She is AWESOME and so talented with the Cricut Design Studio. Truly Amazing!
**here's to happy scrapping!**

Card*a*licious #13

This week's challenge at Cardalicious was to create a thank you card with pink, stitching, and some felt. This is what I came up with:I have really been into butterflies and the MM Slice is perfect for cutting them out using transparency paper. I then stamped on the top with Staz On ink. I think it turned out pretty good. Thanks for looking and happy scrapping!

Scrap Whispers weekly challenge was to create a layout with the title "All You Need is Love". This is what I came up with:
Then of course I have been keeping up with Card*a*licious. This week's challenge was to create a card with three different pattern papers and orange letter sticks. UGH! Orange? Are you serious? Ok, this is the best I could come up with:
I have always wanted to try that flower technique. I have problems matching different patterns so I ended up with orange papers that didn't match any of my orangy letter stickers. That is where the paint came in. The title is supposed to read BLOOM but it kinda got lost. Then I ripped up a box...hmmm..Oh well, thanks for looking friends!
