Sewing, Stamping, and Embossing--- OH MY!

Cuttlebug Challenge blog encourages us to to sew on our projects this week for the Be Inspired #71 challenge. I have tried to methods this weekend. The first one with the sewing machine and the second one hand sewn with my Bazzill In Stitches template. I love the dimension sewing adds to projects!
Not only was I able to stitch on this one, but I was following a color challenge at Michelle Perkett Studio challenge blog.
I tried several times to incorporate all 4 colors in my card but just couldn't do it this week. The butterfly is from her Etsy shop here. I used my copics and some stickles on the butterfly then embellished with Zva rhinestones.
The teacup card template was from What's the Scoop/Paper Popsicles and is ONLY 99 cents! I used the Swiss Dots embossing folder on both cards. That is my favorite folder!

I've Been Missing You!

I have been bitten by the digi craze. I just love how versatile digital images are. Digital Delights by Louby Loo are wonderful and fun to use. They have a blog and are also located on SNR Card Universe and Papercraft Planet. Monthly, they have digi days at SNR Card Universe. Recently, they had a digi day and they gave us this cute little image, Love Sick Nesbitt. Isn't he sweet? They have a challenge to use this image for a chance to win their new releases. I would just LOVE LOVE LOVE to get my hands on the new releases.

My scoop: Wild Card Cartridge by Cricut, old old old Basic Grey printed paper, brown cardstock, image by Digital Delights by Louby Loo, Copic markers, jute, misc. buttons, recycled materials, flower from stash.

Thanks for looking and Happy Scrapping!

If Friends were Flowers....I'd Pick You!

Digital images are really blooming EVERYWHERE. I have really enjoyed trying out different images and practicing my Coloring skills with my copics. I am finding that you really can't have too many of those pens in every shade imaginable, especially for skin and hair. Lol. I just wish they weren't so expensive! Sheeshk!
Michelle Perkett Studio has been one of my new digi loves. She has beautifully detailed images, gives away alot of freebies, and has some great challenges that really take you out of the box. This week's challenge was to create a card with blues and greens. I thought that this October Afternoon paper would be perfect! I used a bunny card template found at What's the Scoop/Paper Popsicles for 99 cents. It worked perfect with one of Michelle's newest images, Happy Easter Bunny

I made a flower out of a doily and misted it with my Olive Glimmer mist. I accented parts of the image with my sparlkley Sakura pen.

It's All About Love Love Love!

I have been following a couple blogs and challenge spots for a couple of months, trying to find a new home and a niche for myself. I have enjoyed the challenges found HERE at Die Cuts R Us Design Team blog. Claudia and her crew are just fantabulously talented! This week was to create a project "all about love". I decided that using my Heart Shaped Card template found at What's the Scoop?/Paper Popsicles would be perfect for this card and for 99 cents you can't go wrong for a custom shaped card!
I found some metallic tissue paper that was begging to be squished and turned into a flower for this card. Used up some miscellaneous Maya Road ribbon, tickets and an old old rubon with some old old buttons and junk from my stash. The pp is from Basic Grey's Nook and Pantry line. Thanks for looking and Happy Scrapping!

Fabric FLowers: Be Inspired #70

This week's challenge at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog is to use fabric on your project. I love making lollipop flowers with little pieces of fabric so this was fun! I was able to use a little felt flower that i had in my stash from Heidi Swapp too and my Tartan Plaid 5 x 7 CB folder.
This site has had alot of goodies to give away too including limited edition Cricut Cartridges, full sized cartridges, Glimmer Mist and more! You have to check it out here! Thanks for looking and Happy Scrapping!

Photos on Printed Paper CAN be fun!

Owl Always Love You...

It is time for another edition of Wednesday's Dippin' Dot Digitals at What's the Scoop. Ok, so my project isn't "exactly" a digital this week...but kind of! Did you see all of the shaped card templates for sale in the store HERE? All I did for the owl was print out the owl on cardstock and cut it out. VOILA! Instant shaped card with my scissors. No electronics necessary and the cost was minimal. 99 cents for the template! There are so many fun shaped cards to choose from.

Because our theme this week is Animals, I decided to use the Owl shaped card template to create this fun card.

The Scoop: What's the Scoop card template that can be found here, Cosmo Cricket paper (Nutmeg), cardstock, really old rubon from Cosmo Cricket, ink (colorbox), rhinestones from Zva, miscellaneous flowers from my stash, miscellaneous buttons from that same stash, CM heart punch.

Let's see what you can do with our theme animals. Link your creations HERE using Mr. Linky TODAY for a chance to win February's RAK.

From Coffee cozee to Gift Card holder...

This is like the oldest trick in the book, but still the best way to hold a gift card IMO! And because it is so small, it is really easy to use up little bobbles and bits that you have accumulated for some unknown reason without using.

Flutter...

This was a little something I did for a cyber crop a couple of weekends ago. It was really fun! A "blind" layout challenge where all of the directions to make the page were typed out, no pictures. You had to interpret the directions and go from there using old stuff in your stash.
I couldn't get much older than this MM line from 2007. My favorite line though!
The picture is DH and I before his highschool reunion (20 years!). Thanks for looking and happy scrapping!

Wowee! Did you see this?
