Michelle Perkett Studio has been one of my new digi loves. She has beautifully detailed images, gives away alot of freebies, and has some great challenges that really take you out of the box. This week's challenge was to create a card with blues and greens. I thought that this October Afternoon paper would be perfect! I used a bunny card template found at What's the Scoop/Paper Popsicles for 99 cents. It worked perfect with one of Michelle's newest images, Happy Easter Bunny

If Friends were Flowers....I'd Pick You!
Digital images are really blooming EVERYWHERE. I have really enjoyed trying out different images and practicing my Coloring skills with my copics. I am finding that you really can't have too many of those pens in every shade imaginable, especially for skin and hair. Lol. I just wish they weren't so expensive! Sheeshk!

It's All About Love Love Love!
I have been following a couple blogs and challenge spots for a couple of months, trying to find a new home and a niche for myself. I have enjoyed the challenges found HERE at Die Cuts R Us Design Team blog. Claudia and her crew are just fantabulously talented! This week was to create a project "all about love". I decided that using my Heart Shaped Card template found at What's the Scoop?/Paper Popsicles would be perfect for this card and for 99 cents you can't go wrong for a custom shaped card!
I found some metallic tissue paper that was begging to be squished and turned into a flower for this card. Used up some miscellaneous Maya Road ribbon, tickets and an old old rubon with some old old buttons and junk from my stash. The pp is from Basic Grey's Nook and Pantry line. Thanks for looking and Happy Scrapping!
Fabric FLowers: Be Inspired #70
This week's challenge at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog is to use fabric on your project. I love making lollipop flowers with little pieces of fabric so this was fun! I was able to use a little felt flower that i had in my stash from Heidi Swapp too and my Tartan Plaid 5 x 7 CB folder.
This site has had alot of goodies to give away too including limited edition Cricut Cartridges, full sized cartridges, Glimmer Mist and more! You have to check it out here! Thanks for looking and Happy Scrapping!

Owl Always Love You...
It is time for another edition of Wednesday's Dippin' Dot Digitals at What's the Scoop. Ok, so my project isn't "exactly" a digital this week...but kind of! Did you see all of the shaped card templates for sale in the store HERE? All I did for the owl was print out the owl on cardstock and cut it out. VOILA! Instant shaped card with my scissors. No electronics necessary and the cost was minimal. 99 cents for the template! There are so many fun shaped cards to choose from.
Because our theme this week is Animals, I decided to use the Owl shaped card template to create this fun card.

The Scoop: What's the Scoop card template that can be found here, Cosmo Cricket paper (Nutmeg), cardstock, really old rubon from Cosmo Cricket, ink (colorbox), rhinestones from Zva, miscellaneous flowers from my stash, miscellaneous buttons from that same stash, CM heart punch.
Let's see what you can do with our theme animals. Link your creations HERE using Mr. Linky TODAY for a chance to win February's RAK.

Flutter...
This was a little something I did for a cyber crop a couple of weekends ago. It was really fun! A "blind" layout challenge where all of the directions to make the page were typed out, no pictures. You had to interpret the directions and go from there using old stuff in your stash.
I couldn't get much older than this MM line from 2007. My favorite line though!
The picture is DH and I before his highschool reunion (20 years!). Thanks for looking and happy scrapping!

Four Legged and Furry!
Cupcake Craft Challenge Blog had the Four Legged and Furry challenge this week. Challenge 76:
The image is a digital from the What's the Scoop? store. The paper is Websters Pages, Nature's Storybook. Thanks for looking and Happy Scrapping!
Happy Birthday!
Die Cuts R Us Design Team had a challenge to use the colors of the new Basic Grey line, Sugar Rush.
I decided to make a treat bag gift and a matching tag using Michele Perket's digital image, Happy Birthday.
I don't have any new papers left in my stash **sniff** seeing as though our LSS has gone away. So I found some Kaiser Craft paper that I had hanging around that seemed to match.
And because I made some treats for my sweet with a matching tag, I was able to use this for the Michele Perket Studio challenge blog too! Woot woot! Thanks for looking and Happy Scrapping!

This week's challenge at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog was to use Glimmer Mist or something similar and create a mask and use some embossing. I have some Glimmer Mist. For this project I used Olive Vine Glimmer Mist. I made circles of varying sizes on some brown paper that had tiny white polka dots (Adorn It).
I then embossed over it and sanded and inked.

From there I cut it down to fit my project and VOILA! Here you go:

Yup...I was a puddle!
Riley has made remarkable progess playing basketball his first year for the St. Monica's Comets (school). He is in 6th grade. We were shocked when he signed up. We were shocked when he told us he loved basketball. We were shocked to see how much he improved practice after practice, day after day. Last night was tournament night. Although the Comets didn't win, Riley won in his own way...He made his first basket during a game!
I admit that it was I that was shocked. Shocked me right to tears. Crying, cheering, snapping pictures. Yup, this is the shot. I was literally sobbing after about 30 seconds. I wasn't the only mom with tears in her eyes last night that is for sure. We are so proud of Riley!

It's Fudgesicle Friday Today!
It's that time again! Another Scoop of fun over at What's the Scoop! TodayI am showing you how your digital images can be used for other projects like LAYOUTS. There is no need to shudder when you think of using these for something else other than cards! This one was easy peasy! I just enlarged the digital and printed it right on my Webster's Pages paper. It is hard to see here, but I embossed the cute little Hedgehogs which are only $2 in the store here, colored the quills with Shimmerz found in the store FOR ONLY $2.81, inked and VOILA!

The Scoop:
Websters Pages (Nature's Storybook), K & Company paper sticker flowers, CTMH Ink, Shimmerz paint, Websters Pages Storytellers stickers, Cuttlebug embossing folders (Swiss Dots and paisley), MS Punch, cardstock. Picture printed on the Websters Pages paper too!
Let's see what you can do with a digital! Can you come up with something different? This week's theme has been all about FRIENDSHIP. Link up your projects HERE for a chance to win a rak at What's the Scoop!

A flourish of LOVE...
I continue to practice my Copic coloring skills with digitals. I really don't stamp with inkpads too much anymore. Digitals are just so much more practical for me. I found another person who creates some absolutely STUNNING images. Michelle Perket Studio. She has sentiments, fairies, mermaids, and lots of other detailed and gorgeous images. There was a sketch posted on the blog so I knew I had to use it with one of her images:
+(Small).JPG)
This paper is OLD OLD OLD Cosmo Cricket. A valentine line from way back that I was keeping in my stash "Just in case" (like why do I keep this stuff???)

Anyway, I used my copics and stickles. I used some Tulip pearl paints too. Some sewing and ink around the edges to complete the card. Yummy!
Thanks for looking and happy scrapping!

Dream Journal
I found a great tutorial SO SIMPLE too for creating a folder for a small lined pad of paper out of a file folder. Seeing as though we are always recycling these at work, I snagged one for my own recycling (shhhhh, don't tell!). I used delish papers from Websters Pages (Nature's Storybook) The digi image is new from Michelle Perket Studio.

Vintage Rose
Good Morning everyone! This week has been pretty busy but ended with my birthday so it made up for it. Cuttlebug Challenge blog and Die Cuts R Us Design Team blog had more challenges this week. This is what I came up with:
I really don't like to "combine" challenges so my apologies to both sites. Later, I will post the "other" card I did for one of the challenges using ribbon....OH SO SAD. It is pitiful and really quite embarrassing!
Anyways, this card was embossed TWICE with two different folders! I used Core'dinations cardstock. One folder was sanded and the other folder was inked. I love the effect! I gathered the velvet ribbon on the bottom. I have seen this done alot so it fit this card well.
Thank you for looking and Happy Scrapping!

BINGO!
I am playing Valentine's Day Bingo at Angela Holt's blog, Scrap Journal of Angela Holt. I chose a slew of words from her list and she will be "calling" out the words on her blog regularly. Today I did not have any of the words. We were challenged to do an altered BINGO card if we wanted to claim the words she had posted. Even though I didn't have the words, I did the challenge anyway cuz my mojo was flowing....
All supplies were Cosmo Cricket except the Bingo Card which I got from Lindsey at Lindsey's Stamp Stuff. Thanks for looking at Happy Scrapping!
