Dream Journal

I found a great tutorial SO SIMPLE too for creating a folder for a small lined pad of paper out of a file folder. Seeing as though we are always recycling these at work, I snagged one for my own recycling (shhhhh, don't tell!). I used delish papers from Websters Pages (Nature's Storybook) The digi image is new from Michelle Perket Studio.
Although it is difficult to see, I used stickles on the wording, my Copics on the dragonfly and then used a Sakura glitter pen on the clouds and over the dragonfly lines as well. There is some miscellaneous ribbon from my stash and K and Cmpany flower stickers. I am going to send this to my mother.

Vintage Rose

Good Morning everyone! This week has been pretty busy but ended with my birthday so it made up for it. Cuttlebug Challenge blog and Die Cuts R Us Design Team blog had more challenges this week. This is what I came up with:
I really don't like to "combine" challenges so my apologies to both sites. Later, I will post the "other" card I did for one of the challenges using ribbon....OH SO SAD. It is pitiful and really quite embarrassing!
Anyways, this card was embossed TWICE with two different folders! I used Core'dinations cardstock. One folder was sanded and the other folder was inked. I love the effect! I gathered the velvet ribbon on the bottom. I have seen this done alot so it fit this card well.
Thank you for looking and Happy Scrapping!

BINGO!

I am playing Valentine's Day Bingo at Angela Holt's blog, Scrap Journal of Angela Holt. I chose a slew of words from her list and she will be "calling" out the words on her blog regularly. Today I did not have any of the words. We were challenged to do an altered BINGO card if we wanted to claim the words she had posted. Even though I didn't have the words, I did the challenge anyway cuz my mojo was flowing....
All supplies were Cosmo Cricket except the Bingo Card which I got from Lindsey at Lindsey's Stamp Stuff. Thanks for looking at Happy Scrapping!

I love that Teresa Collins journalling paper block stuff. It has always been my favorite and of course recycling on a project makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

Use Your Stash!

I am having fun this weekend Using my Stash and creating some fun projects at Scrapbook Challenges this weekend. I have dug out some oldie but goodie scrappy items. This first one is using at least 10 EYELETS (eek!). The lock is an acryllic Stamp by That's Jazzy Stamp Dreams.
This challenge was to use at least 10 of those little prima flowers that used to come in those glass bottles. Mine were U G L Y so I spritzed them with Shimmerz.
This challenge was to take at least 3 items from that stash of things you just had to have but never use. I used some really old PP from American Crafts, some clear stickers by American Crafts, some Paper Frills by Doodlebug, and some clear plastic frame things by Making Memories.
There are several more challenges up there for the mojo to flow. I can't post one of the layouts for a Blind challenge until Wednesday. Lots of goodies for the taking! Thanks for Looking at Happy Scrapping!

My Valentine ATC

**giggling**
I know I know. More of that Kaiser Craft paper~ I can't help it. I just hate to see it go into the "pile of never used". I gotta just use it up. So get over it, ok?
Cuttlebug Challenge Blog had an ATC challenge this week. ATC with hearts. Not clear if there was supposed to be red...it was a REDHOT challenge but oh well! I used Shimmerz and ink on the embossed hearts. The cupid was cut with my MM slice (**gasp**)
Thanks for looking and Happy Scrapping!

New Sketch Challenges Found!

Die Cuts R Us Design Team is going to have a sketch posted the third Tuesday of every month. This is their first sketch. It really got my mojo flowing this week!
And using more of my Kaiser Craft paper that I just can't seem to stop using these days:
I had some miscellaneous Chipboard butterflies by Maya Road that I used too. I spritzed it with Shimmerz Miniz and then painted with Shimmerz Blingz. I thought the effect turned out quiet nice! Thanks for looking and happy scrapping~

Stash that Christmas Paper!

Ok, well don't really STASH IT. Use it up! Be creative! That is this week's challenge at the Die Cuts Are Us Design Team Blog. Dig out those scraps you used during Christmas and create something, anything. I found some scraps of the Mistletoe collection by Making Memories. I had some left over little spiral bound pieces too. I even found a piece of packaging from a gift I got in the mail **Smiles** I love recycling! Little bits of letters from October Afternoon and the sticker is from American Crafts. The Ribbon was a piece I had leftover from an old Pink Paislee line, Tinsel Town.
What can you make with your leftover Christmas stash? THanks for looking and as always, Happy Scrapping!

Shimmerz has NEW PRODUCTS!

Have you checked it out yet? Shimmerz Paints has NEW products! I can't wait to try them. I am addicted to the little pots and their spritz. Now, they are giving away a set of their new stuff every hour for 12 hours!!! Wahoo!!!

Introducing HUNTER!

Every little person received a gift card for Christmas from Gramma and Grampa (my folks). Nicholas got one to Build A Bear Workshop. This was his first time there. He loves the color green so he glommed onto the cammo bear right away. He named his bear Hunter.
I am sure to do a page of this event here real soon. I will also post pictures of what the other little people did with their gift cards....

She's Got the Look!

I saw little miss Hannah digging in my supplies today putting together a card. I tried not to look at what she was grabbing, cringing when she spotted these flowers. **Sigh**
But as i carried on my own business, she got her own MOJO going. She did this all by herself and I was so proud of her! 7 years old! Do you think CK would pick her up someday?

Heart the Arts...Weekly Journaling Prompts

During my blurfing, I stumbled upon a blog by Gina. She is doing Heart for the Arts which is a weekly journalling prompt. I created a book to store all of my journalling using Craft Paper, Lillian line. A pocket calendar plastic protector was perfect for making the journal durable. I added some tried and true alcohol inks to the front as well.
The first week's prompt was "AIM TO...".
The next week's prompt is "SOMEDAY..."
I will share a couple pages as I get them done. I am doing the journalling month by month instead of one art page per prompt. For me this will be more manageable. I love these little snippets. They sure make resolutions a little more peaceful and doable!
